Branch Pub of the Year 2026

The first stage of the Branch Pub of the Year 2026 is now complete. The winners of each area are:

SE1 post code area: Hand and Marigold, Bermondsey

Greenwich: Green Goddess: Blackheath Standard

Lambeth and Southwark outside SE1: Mayflower, Rotherhithe

Lewisham: Shirkers Rest, New Cross

Thanks to all those who voted and congratulations to the winners who go forward to the final round.

An overall branch Pub of the Year will be chosen from the 4 district (area) winners by branch members visiting them all over a period of time using Regional / National Pub of the Year judging forms, amended to include member’s name, membership number. The date and time of each visit is included in this form. It will be a mandatory requirement for a judge to have visited all 4 pubs and submitted forms for each for her/his judging to have been regarded as valid.

Completed sets of the 4 forms should be submitted to chair@sel.camra.org.uk by close of day on Tuesday 10th March 2026.  If you encounter difficulties emailing the completed forms please liaise with that email address to agree a way forward.

Please note that only South East London area CAMRA members may vote.
